All dancers will need competition costumes.

1. Costume Selection: The teacher will choose a costume that aligns with the choreography and theme of the performance.

2. Order Placement: Once the costume has been finalised, parents/guardians will receive a notification including the total cost (we aim for costumes across the year to be no more than £60 with a mixture of hiring and purchasing pieces, but we cannot guarantee this every time) sizing charts, and a deadline for payment. All orders must be placed through the academy to streamline delivery and ensure uniformity.

3. Payment: Payment can be made via the LDCA Shop or invoice.

4. Delivery and Distribution: Costumes will be delivered to the academy and distributed during class. Dancers are expected to try on their costumes immediately to confirm proper fit.

5. Additional Items: In some cases, dancers may also need to purchase or provide specific shoes, tights, or accessories to complete the costume. These items will be detailed in the costume notice.
