Does my cheerleader need a ticket for competitions?
– No, cheerleaders do not a ticket , but they must have paid the Competition entry fee (Due 7th December).
Do I need a new uniform every year?
– No, the uniforms have not changed in design. If it still fits you do not need a new one.
My child has had a growth spirt, the top fits but the skort/shorts is too small can I just order a skort/shorts?
– Yes, of course. You can select just a skort/shorts in the LDCA Shop.
Can you help me with the uniform sizing? I’m so confused…
Sure, it’s easiest to go according to the age of clothing size your cheerleader wears. The measurements are there so you can double check as we do not do refunds for uniforms.
How many audience tickets can I order for the competition?
– All cheerleaders will be allocated two tickets each.
-3 weeks before the competition the remaining tickets will go on sale and will be available for anyone until they are sold out.
What if my cheerleader can’t make one of the competitions, what should I do? Should she leave the team?
-NO! Your cheerleader should still attend all lessons. We can accommodate for their absence on the day of the competition if we have as much notice as possible. Cheerleading is a team sport, absent cheerleaders have direct impact on the rest of the team. Communication and saving the competition dates are important when enrolled at LDCA.
Should my child arrive in their uniform?
-Yes please, where possible please arrive ready in cheer uniform. During the spring competition we will have time to change at the venue. However, the less changing the better, to avoid lost property.
Can one of the coaches do my cheerleaders hair?
-Of course we would love to! Not a problem, if you want to bring your own hairbrush and clean hair, we will be happy to help. (Please ensure items are labelled).
What does my cheerleader need to bring to competition?
-Great question! If the competition runs over a meal time, please bring a healthy nut free lunch (Summer Final) or Dinner (Spring competition) . We always recommend that your cheerleader has plenty of healthy snacks and a labelled water bottle.
Can I order in food for my cheerleader?
-No, we cannot accept any food from a delivery service including Deliveroo or Uber Eats.
